A murderer has been caught, but no one is celebrating.

Instead, they demand his release.

Luigi Mangione murdered the CEO of a multi-billion dollar healthcare company and is receiving thousands and thousands of followers supporting his cause. The 26-year-old software engineer was against capitalist society, saying, “These parasites had it coming.” His use of the word ‘parasites’ portrays ‘corporate America’ as entities who take without giving anything back.

Throughout America, supporters riot and protest in the streets against the unfair healthcare system and cheer for the assassin Luigi. They feel that denying their claims was both unjust and dishonest, which aligns with Mangione’s anti-capitalism ideas.

Admittedly, this case might be gaining support because of people judging him on his appearance; they think him attractive and simp accordingly.

Regardless, violence should never be an option; there are many other peaceful routes he could have pursued, like peaceful protests and campaigning with letters and posters.
